Moving In

Clients save time and money when downsizing, moving and relocating with this service. Many use this opportunity to edit belongings, use smaller rental trucks, eliminate the need for storage facilities and use fewer storage containers.
Moving Redesign Consultation $200 per hour
On average, one hour is required to tour a 2000 sq. ft. property or less. We discuss many of the following topics:
- Client's needs, resources and timeline
- How to edit belongings, declutter and begin the moving process
- How to donate, recycle and sell unwanted belongings
- Furniture, art and accessories to move
- Discuss optional floor plans for new location
- An action plan with a timeline and estimates is included.
A “Resource List”of trusted contractors, handyman services, painters, home improvement products and more is also available.
Moving Side by Side Sessions $80 per hour
We work along-side homeowners to implement the action plan established
in the consultation which will often include many of the activities listed below. Sessions are scheduled on an hourly basis by the homeowner depending on their specific needs and budget.
- Edit belongings and sort items to be moved, sold, donated or discarded
- Manage online accounts with eBAY or Craigslist to sell unwanted items
- Arrange furniture, hang artwork, display accessories at new residence
- Unpack and organize the home, such as master bedroom and bath for the first night, kitchen essentials for the first morning, and home office to keep households running efficiently
- Remove and install window treatments
- Remove and install closet systems and storage units
